What do kids do in other countries?

What do kids do in other countries? Children all over the world play, but their hobbies are different. In Brazil, many children play football in the street or on the beach. They often play with friends after school, and some of them dream about being a famous player.

In Japan, many pupils join a club at school after lessons. They do sports, play music or do art. In Mongolia, many children in the countryside learn to ride a horse when they are very young. In some regions of India, children like flying kites in January during a kite festival.

In Ukraine, many children go to clubs after school: they dance, sing, draw, play chess or do sport. Others like playing computer games or playing outside with friends. Many children also collect things, for example stickers, coins or stones.

Free time is important. A hobby can help children to relax, to learn and to meet friends. And a hobby is not only for children: adults have got hobbies too. They can paint, cook, dance or ride a bike.
