What is the busiest street in the world?

What is the busiest street in the world? Nobody knows for sure, because it depends on what you count: people, cars or shops. But some places are very famous for being busy.

One example is Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. At this crossing, all the traffic lights turn red at the same time, and then a very big crowd of people walks across from every side. Sometimes hundreds of people cross at the same time. Tourists often stand and take photos. You can watch it from a shop or a café above the street.

Another example is Oxford Street in London. It is often called one of the busiest shopping streets in Europe. You can find a lot of shops there, but the pavement is often full of people, and cars can't drive fast.

In a busy street, you can't always hear a friend, and you can't always park a car. But you can take a taxi, use a crossing, or walk on the pavement. Many people like busy streets, but other people prefer a quiet street.
