Read: a project story
The Brown project — from quotation to payment
In January, Brown & Co. asked us for a quotation for 500 office chairs. We offered a 5% discount if they ordered before 15 March. They accepted and signed the contract. According to the contract, we must deliver the chairs within 30 days.
The chairs were produced in our factory and shipped by sea. Unfortunately, the container was delayed at customs because some documents were missing. We had checked all the goods before they left, so the quality was good, but the delivery was a week late.
We informed the client at once and offered a small discount as a result. The shipment was delivered on 20 April, and the client was happy.
Last week we sent the invoice. The payment has not arrived yet, so we have sent a polite reminder. We are confident that the client will pay soon.
